Medical Mission Madurai February 2025
Dr. Josette — founder and president of Soakilonga — and her paramedical team (3 young nurses and midwives) will spend three weeks in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, in February 2025, providing free diagnostics, care, and surgeries to beneficiaries of Antenna Trust.
In addition to medical care, our teams — comprising social workers from Antenna Trust, paramedics from Soakilonga, and coordinators from Roots — will organize workshops on hygiene and menstrual health for children and women in rural villages and slums.
Dr. Josette and Charline - midwife - operating on a cyst at the medical clinic of the Soakilonga center in Tsarazaza, located in a rural area, a 15-hour bush taxi ride from the nearest doctor.
